Jacob and his night seizures

As many of you know, Jacob has night seizures.  Before the onset of a seizure his heart rate goes very sporadic and he knows that it's coming.  He'll usually wake us up then have full body seizures for about 30 minutes.  I've always wanted to collect heart beat data from Jacob but I've never had any equipment for it.

My Garmin 305 running watch came with a heart monitor strap.  So last night I put it on Jacob and logged his heartbeat overnight.  There wasn't anything there out of the ordinary so no seizures.  We can never predict when he's going to get one.  It could be months until the next seizure or it could be tonight.

I think I might want to buy another Garmin 305 just for Jacob this is so cool.  And if he does get a seizure I can bring the data into the Doctor.
